Hiccup in the email sending service has been fixed

Today morning, there was a hiccup in the email sending service that prevented users from receiving the 2-factor authentication code and the password reset link. The issue has been resolved. I apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Server Maintenance

The Bookmark Ninja service will be temporarily unavailable for 2-5 minute periods in the following time frame due to server maintenance:

2:00 am - 4:00 am (ET) January 6th, 2021.

During the maintenance the server configuration will be updated in order to improve the performance of the service.

Ninja is live again

Completed system maintenance, Ninja is back!

As a result of upgrading MySQL from version 5.5 to 5.6 Ninja gained a significant performance improvement.

If a user had 20,000 bookmarks in the catalog it took more than 1 minute to load them on the My Bookmarks page.

Now it takes 3 seconds!!!

The Bookmark Ninja service will be temporarily unavailable due to system maintenance.
The site will be down from 2:00 AM until 8:00 AM (EDT) on August 15, 2016.

During the maintenance some of the server software components will be upgraded and reconfigured in order to improve the performance of the service.
