Firefox extensions moved to the Firefox add-ons store

Until now Firefox extensions have been hosted on the Bookmark Ninja server. Today the extensions were moved to the Firefox add-ons store. If you install the extensions from there, the extensions will be automatically updated in your browser if new versions of the extensions are available.

It is recommended to remove your current Bookmark Ninja extensions in Firefox and install the ones from the Firefox add-ons store. To install the extensions select "Tools/Install Browser Buttons" in the main menu of Bookmark Ninja, then click on the links next to the Firefox icon. The links will lead you to the extensions in the Firefox add-ons store.

Changes in accessing the Dashboard in desktop browsers

Unfortunately Google has removed the "Ninja Dashboard" extension from the Chrome web store. The reason for the removal is that the extension doesn't have any real functionality, it just opens a web page, which is true.

As an alternative solution please use a direct link to launch the Dashboard:
  1. In the main menu select "Tools/Install Browser Buttons" to open the "Install Browser Buttons" page.
  2. Drag and drop the "Ninja Dashboard" button to the bookmark bar.
This button has been updated, too, from now it's a simple link to the Dashboard, it's not a bookmarklet anymore.

If you want you can also add the My Bookmarks page to the bookmark bar: open the My Bookmarks page in the browser then click on the star icon next to the browser's URL field and add the link to the bookmark bar.

(3) Select where you want to add the tabs to: "Catalog" or "Dashboard".

(4) If you selected the "Dashboard", then select a "Tab" and "Category" from the drop down lists.

(5) Optionally you can add tags and notes. The tags and notes will be added to each of the bookmarked pages.

(6) Click on the "Add" button.

Using the "Detect already bookmarked pages" tool

The "Detect already bookmarked pages" tool works the same way as it works when you bookmark only the active page. If neither of the tabs has been bookmarked yet then you will see the "Tabs not bookmarked yet" message at the bottom of the "Bookmark All Tabs" dialog box.

If any of the tabs has been already bookmarked you will see a message like "3 of 7 tabs already bookmarked":

Click on "already bookmarked" to see the list of the already bookmarked tabs:
