To install the browser extension
- Select "Tools/Install Browser Buttons" in the main menu of Bookmark Ninja.
- Under the "Browser Extensions" section click on Install the "Bookmark All Tabs" extension for Chrome/Firefox.
- Follow the instructions to complete the installation of the extension.
To bookmark all tabs in your browser
(1) Click on the "Bookmark All Tabs" extension icon in the top right corner of your browser:
(2) A similar dialog box will come up when you use the "Add to Ninja" extension that bookmarks only the active tab. Since you bookmark all the tabs the "Title" and "URL" fields will not be displayed on the dialog box:
(3) Select where you want to add the tabs to: "Catalog" or "Dashboard".
(4) If you selected the "Dashboard", then select a "Tab" and "Category" from the drop down lists.
(5) Optionally you can add tags and notes. The tags and notes will be added to each of the bookmarked pages.
(6) Click on the "Add" button.
Using the "Detect already bookmarked pages" tool
The "Detect already bookmarked pages" tool works the same way as it works when you bookmark only the active page. If neither of the tabs has been bookmarked yet then you will see the "Tabs not bookmarked yet" message at the bottom of the "Bookmark All Tabs" dialog box.
If any of the tabs has been already bookmarked you will see a message like "3 of 7 tabs already bookmarked":
Click on "already bookmarked" to see the list of the already bookmarked tabs:
Nice! No auto update on the Extensions? (i don't know if this is possible)
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it, Robarto! Auto update of extensions is controlled by the browsers. By default auto update is tuned on in both Chrome and Firefox.
DeleteThis is awesome you guys - keep up the good work
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm glad you like the new extension.
DeleteCan this also be done on Safari?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately it's not available for Safari. Only for Chrome, Firefox and all the Chromium based browsers.
